This is an opportunity to take your first step into permaculture or to solidify your existing knowledge (no prior knowledge of permaculture is necessary for this course).

Graham Burnett
In addition to writing, illustrating and self publishing a number of books (some of which have been translated into Croatian), Graham Burnett is an experienced permaculture practioner, designer and teacher. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Permaculture Association (Britain), and holds the Diploma in Permaculture Design (Dip Perm Des). Graham is a member of the Permaculture Association's Designers Register, and has co-run Permaculture Introductory courses, full design courses and specialist courses on vegan-organic gardening and compost toilet building. 

Stefan Geyer
Stefan has been practising Permaculture for over 12 years, starting with woodland management and now focusing more on Urban and Organisational uses of Permaculture design. He completed his design certificate with David Holmgren and George Sobol, and completed Teacher Training with Designed Visions. He is currently a Trustee for the UK Permaculture Association.

Participants will also get a free copy of the Croatian translation of Graham Burnettes book "PERMAKULTURA - vodič za početnike" (Kindly donated by ZMAG).

Course Objectives

- Gain a competent understanding of permaculture ethics and methodologies

- Have confidence in applying these techniques and ethics to any appropriate situation (i.e. not just agriculture & building)

- Gain experience in putting these techniques into practice

- Basic understanding of how to design integrated system including, Dwellings and other buildings; Agriculture; Recycling; Energy

- Effective teamwork/Conflict resolution/Consensus

- How to set clear outcomes and expectations

- Creating a clear vision

Cost
Part one of the course will cost 1400kn (1300kn advance payment discount). Places are limited so to confirm your place, we require a 600kn deposit (details of how to pay on application)
